FIST is a Festival of International Student Theater organized by students of the Department of Management and Production of Theater, Radio and Culture from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, University of Arts in Belgrade. From this year, through the FIST Music platform, we want to connect music with theater, performance and other performing arts practices. FIST Music Workshop is a workshop within the warm up program of the 15th FIST festival. The workshop was held on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at 6 pm in the Small Hall of the Kolarac Endowment in Belgrade, Serbia. The workshop consists of a lecture by composer Maja Bosnić on the topic of audience participation as material and joint performance of the interactive work Menuet4phoneS for audience with smartphones. What are the different possibilities of activating the audience during a performance or music theater? What are the possibilities of interaction with the audience? In what ways is it possible to direct and manage audience participation? What are the possible outcomes and how can we build material with the audience? These are some of the questions we tried to answer, review previous research, as well as personal experiences. The workshop was intended for all students of the University of Arts in Belgrade, the University of Belgrade, students of music high schools, but also for all those who love theater and music!
